Introducing Manus 2.0

Today, we are thrilled to introduce Manus 2.0.

Manus 2.0 is not a version update. It's a new architecture, new products, and new capabilities built around a fundamental question: what should the next generation of Manus look like?

1. A new foundation for going further

Cascade: The latest iteration of our in-house agent harness

It keeps a project light from the start and brings in specialized capabilities only when the work needs them. The brief, the page, the video, and the automation stay part of one connected project.
Better results. Less waste. In one tested configuration, Cascade used 23.2% fewer tokens, finished tasks in 28.2% less time, and cost 32% less to run than our previous system.

Cloud Computer: When your project needs a place of its own

Some projects outgrow one machine. A multiplayer game needs a server that stays up when your laptop closes. An automation needs somewhere to run around the clock.
Now you can purchase a Cloud Computer: a dedicated environment for the projects that need it, from the server behind the game to a permanent home for an automation.

Automations: From scheduled tasks to event-triggered workflows

Scheduled Tasks used to let Manus start work only at a set time. Now, with Automations, work can also begin when something happens in a connected service.
A new email, a change in ad performance, a calendar event, a Slack message, or a Notion update can all trigger a task. Just tell Manus in a single prompt what to watch and what to do next, and it sets up and runs the workflow.

2. Manus Studio: From finishing tasks to making great work

With Manus 2.0, the desktop app is upgraded to Manus Studio: a shared workspace for people and AI.
Each kind of work needs its own professional tools, but carrying every capability into every task makes the same work slower and more expensive. So Studio brings in only what your project calls for, keeping Manus's context focused on the work at hand. In this release, Studio gets major upgrades for both everyday work and professional creation: documents, spreadsheets, PDFs, and slides, as well as websites, code, games, and video. And for video and games, where the bar is especially high, we're introducing two all-new professional environments: Video Editor and Game Dev.

Video Editor: Make the first cut in minutes. Keep the final cut for yourself.

Say your launch ad goes out tomorrow, and Manus has already put together a first cut. It's close. You'd just like a warmer song, and you'd rather use the product shot you took yourself than the generated one.
Before, changes like that meant writing a new prompt and generating the whole video again. In Studio, Manus gives you the timeline instead. The clips, images, text, motion graphics, and audio it used are all there as separate pieces, so you can swap the song, drop in your own footage, move an animation, and export when you're happy with it.

You can also hand it back. Ask Manus to take another pass, and it works from your edits.
Video Editor is built for short product ads (30 to 60 seconds), AI UGC, data motion graphics, tutorials, vlogs, and motion-led videos. You don't need any editing experience.

Alchemy mode: AI as your creative director

Video Editor also has Alchemy mode. You start from an idea, and Manus takes on the creative direction, using video and code generation together. The jump in quality is surprisingly big: the ideas are more creative, visual details are under tighter control, the motion is more polished, and the pacing of the edit is noticeably better. When quality matters most, Alchemy mode is the one to use. You can still fine-tune the result on the timeline afterward.

Game Dev: Build it. Ship it. Play it together.

Most gamers have a game they've wanted to make for years. AI can already get you a decent version. Game Dev is for making the version you actually had in mind.
It uses video, image, and coding models together, and in Max Ultra mode your game looks great, plays well, and feels right in your hands. Start from a playable template and you're playing your idea in the first session.
In the Edit panel, you can watch the game run, manage assets, edit code, and change movement, art, and scenes by hand. If one villager's hair should be silver instead of brown, select that villager and change it. Everything else stays as it was.
When it's ready, publish it as a website that anyone can play from a link, or bring your friends in.
Multiplayer is where most projects like this stall. It needs a server that's always on and reachable by every player, which means hosting, networking, and upkeep most people never signed up to learn. With Game Dev, you don't have to.
Setting it up takes a few clicks: Configure → Multiplayer → Select Cloud Computer → Buy one. Manus handles the rest. It works for racing, head-to-head, competitive, and 3D games. Your friends join, and what they find while playing shapes your next version.

Remote Control and Computer Use: Your computer, one voice command away

A remote desktop app lets you reach your computer from your phone, but you still have to do every click yourself on a tiny screen. Now you can tell Manus what you need instead.
Say you're in a cab and need the deck on your computer at home. Ask Manus to find the latest one in your launch folder and send it to you, and watch your desktop live on your phone while it does. If you'd rather have the PDF, just ask.
This runs on Computer Use. In a connected and authorized session, Manus works in its own visible workspace on your computer, using the files, browser, and apps you've approved. It can test your app while you work on something else, or keep working while you're away, and you stay in control of what it does.

3. Cue: A new app from Manus

Cue is a new standalone app for your personal agents, on your phone and desktop, built on the same infrastructure as Manus. Give it a cue, and it gets to work.
Every agent gets its own identity
In Cue, each agent has its own email, phone number, wallet, and computer, so it can send messages, pay within the budget you set, and see a task through on its own machine. It can also take your calls and leave you a summary in Cue.
Build a team
Put several agents in a group chat with a shared goal, and they hand work to each other: one researches venues for your New York launch, another makes a shortlist, a third drafts the deck. You set the direction and make the final call.
Everyday services, handled by agents
Cue also works with the services around you. At a restaurant, scan the QR code and your agent can order for you or hold your place in line.

Build with Manus, build with us

Think back to your first "wow" moment, when an idea became something real right in front of you.
Manus 2.0 is about everything that comes after it. The song you swap. The product shot you drop in. The villager you give silver hair. The friends who join the game you built. The agent that has the answer waiting when you pick up your phone.
That's where an idea becomes yours.

We started Manus to help people turn ideas into something real, and Manus 2.0 keeps that promise.
Manus empowers you to build. You decide what's worth building.
